Planklo ("we") runs planklo.com, a marketplace where customers find local service pros and request quotes. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, and a password if you choose one (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
- Customers: your first name, the details of the projects you describe, your zip code, messages, and your phone number if you choose to add it.
- Pros: business name, service, location, travel distance, prices, introduction, job preferences, and business phone if you add it.
- Basic technical data needed to run the site, such as server logs.
How we use it
- To match customers with pros and deliver quote requests, quotes and messages.
- To send account emails (sign-in links, confirmations, password resets) and alerts about your requests or leads.
- To send text messages only if you opt in (see below).
Who can see your information
A pro's public listing (business name, service area, prices, introduction) is visible to everyone. Contact details are not: a customer's phone number and request details are shared only with the pros that customer contacts, and a pro's business phone is shown only to customers who have sent that pro a request.
We do not sell your personal information. We use these service providers to run Planklo: Supabase (database and accounts), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), and Netlify (website hosting).
Text messages (SMS)
If you check a box to receive text alerts, we'll text the number you provide about your quote requests (customers) or new leads (pros). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. Opting in is not required to use Planklo.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the messaging provider that delivers the texts.
Your choices
You can update your profile, remove your phone number, turn off text alerts, or delete your pro listing at any time from your account. To delete your account entirely, contact us.
